Gainers & Losers: HPCL, Paytm among top 3 stocks in spotlight on Monday

One97 Communications surged 5% to Rs 370 on NSE as NPCI approved Paytm's participation in UPI as a Third-Party Application Provider (TPAP). This ended its four-session losing streak.

RailTel Corporation of India surged 9% to Rs 368.55 on the NSE following a Rs 113.46 crore work order from Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC). The state-run counter closed the day at Rs 352.85, up Rs 13.80 or 4.07%

Oil stocks experienced a 10% decline following a Rs 2 per litre reduction in petrol and diesel prices, marking their first decrease in nearly two years. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) dropped by 10% to reach the day's low of Rs 451.15 on the NSE, ultimately closing at Rs 468, down by Rs 31 or 6%.
